MADELINE DRONE
LEED Green Associate | Interior Design
The unique personality traits of Generation Y, the current student population, create a juxtaposition of confident personal independence and peer-based acceptance. Net Lounge allows for a seamless integration of both learning styles, individual study and group collaboration, by breaking down the barriers of the conventional learning environment.

Interior and exterior visibility allows for spontaneous communication as well as a sense of community, which is also created through the use of sustainable materials, local products, and recycling stations. Innovative technology, generation specific wayfinding, and individual study areas empower independent students while also connecting them with the rest of the facility.
