Recently this May, I graduated from Louisiana State University and received a baccalaureate degree in Interior Design with a minor degree in Business Administration.

The LSU Interior Design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). Through my studies, I strive for opportunities to excel in the areas of construction documents, hand rendering, and sustainable design. I was able to enroll in a sustainable design class, pass the LEED professional accreditation exam, and become a LEED Green Associate in the Spring of 2012.

As the President of the LSU Interior Design Student Organization (IDSO) this past year, my passion for Interior Design and my ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with professionals, faculty, and fellow students has grown. This online student portfolio, featuring work from communicative intensive courses, is one of the many requirements for pursuing the LSU Distinguished Communicator certification I was awarded at graduation.

When I am not advocating upcoming events for IDSO or working late nights in studio with classmates (aka my closest friends) I am visiting my only sister in Houston, going salt water fishing with my parents in Lake Charles, and sharing my latest school endeavors with family and friends. I love being able to share my work with those I care about and have them see my passion for design.
