The decreasing integration of nature into cities parallels the reduction of family values in today's society. Due to the client's wishes to create a memorable experience for customers and employees alike, Urbanology redirects society's focus back to families and their experience together by integrating nature back into urban shopping.

The fixture layouts and the store's circulation are organized in a grid pattern, representing the city plan, and are interrupted by circular table fixtures and organic forms. These areas allow for meeting space among shoppers. Strong vertical elements are used throughout to create a point of reference and symbolize the family tree.
